The Ace Hotel Palm Springs is a vintage mid-century desert modern oasis attracting a young and hip crowd.

The trendy Palm Springs hotel is located at the south end of Downtown with the beautiful San Jacintos Mountains as a backdrop.

Many years ago, before The Ace Palm Springs opened in 2009, it used to be a Westward Ho and Denny’s roadside diner. I know, what a transformation!

As mentioned, the Palm Springs Ace Hotel hosts a bunch of events during the year. The biggest event time is of course in April during Coachella when tens of thousands of people flock to the chic California desert.

We actually stayed at the Ace Hotel after our Coachella weekend. It was a nice end to a weekend full of music and camping.

When booking the Ace Hotel during the month of April, expect a lot of people and a lot going on at the hotel. Prices also rise significantly around the Coachella weekends and you will have to book very early on to even get a room as demand is super high during thoes times.

The popular Palm Springs hotel boasts a stunning 176 rooms, which to me is quite incredible because the hotel certainly feels a lot smaller.

From simple king-size rooms and double rooms to suites and suites with patios and fireplaces, the hotel offers a variety of different kinds of rooms at inclining price points.

When we stayed at the Ace Hotel during Coachella, we got a regular king-size room for two people.
