The iconic Tiburon Hippie Tree is a giant eucalyptus tree located in a hilly area at top of Tiburon overlooking the San Francisco Bay.

How To Get To Hippie Tree Near San Francisco?
The San Francisco Hippie Tree is actually located on public lands in the town of Tiburon which is located across the Golden Gate Bridge. The swing can be accessed off of Gilmartin Drive by a fire road from two points. See the address of the two points below:

Hippie Tree Tiburon Hike
From the street, it is only a short hike to get to the Hippie Tree. From Gilmartin Drive, there are two access points to get to the swing. The one at 100 Gilmartin Dr is a little shorter than the other. It takes about 5 minutes to hike there.
There are more parking spots at 120 Gilmartin Drive. It will take slightly more time to walk to the swing from here, but you will have nice panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay.
Best Time To Visit
You can visit the Tiburon tree swing any time of the day. However, the best time is around sunset, when the sun goes down over the Bay Area and illuminates the sky in red and orange colors.
